Project Description:

The project aimed at bringing up to date the civil works, machinery and facilities of the dams, to give fulfilment to the objectives of security demanded in the Service manual of Security of Dams. These performances were fitted within the European Program of Measures of Protection and Regeneration for Natural and Rural Spaces financed under FEDER funds (EU funds).

Types of services provided within the project included:

  • Inventory of the different elements from the dams;
  • Compilation of information;
  • Detailed revision of works and diagnosis of security of the dams;
  • Study of the systems of auscultation installed, as well as existing equipment and the measured data;
  • Definition of the system of necessary additional auscultation;
  • Analysis of the movable or immovable mechanisms;
  • Valuation of the state of security of the dams;
  • Final report (set out priorities of performance and how to reach them);
