We are pleased to announce that Eptisa signed two important grant financing agreements between the Instituto De Crédito Oficial of the Spanish Government and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia, for two important projects to be implemented by EPTISA in the presence of:

  1. Ms Irena Vujovic, Minister of Environmental Protection
  2. H.E. Ambassador, Mr Juan Jose Sanz Aparicio

These projects will provide technical support to Serbia’s efforts in complying with national regulations and European Union (EU) environmental standards and Directive requirements.

  1. Preparation of Technical and Tender Documentation for Municipal Wastewater Sludge Treatment Infrastructure in Serbia (4 WWTPs)
The goal of this project is to contribute to the establishment of a sewage sludge management system in the Republic of Serbia. This system will align with national regulations and EU requirements. Specifically, EPTISA will provide technical support for the preparation of technical and tender documentation for constructing sewage sludge treatment infrastructure in four wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) located in: Leskovac, Vrbas-Kula, Raska and Subotica. In addition to the infrastructure, the project will also focus on sludge management planning and capacity-building activities.
  2. Introduction of Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) Management in Four Waste Management Regions in Serbia
This project aims to contribute to establishing a robust construction and demolition waste management system in four waste management regions in Serbia, namely: Subotica, Uzice (Duboko), Srem-Macva and Pancevo. EPTISA will provide technical support for preparing the necessary technical and tender documentation for these regions, focusing on sustainable infrastructure development and capacity building.

These projects are funded by the Government of Spain, further underscoring the collaborative efforts to enhance environmental sustainability in Serbia.
