Project Description:
As a result of more than 20 years experience in the field of Quality Control in many diverse areas, in 1992 EPTISA set up an independent Agroalimentary and Environmental Laboratory in Vilaboa (Spain), with the main objective to offer analytical and consulting services to other companies in order to develop their quality controls of product and process.
The Laboratory has implanted a system of quality based on the specific International Norms of the research laboratories (EN ISO/IEC 17025), which has allowed it to receive the Accreditation by the National Organisation of Accreditation (ENAC). This allows the company to offer the widest range of analyses to its clients, and also allows EPTISA to approach larger consultancy projects in the areas of the laboratory work with a total guarantee.
These areas of work are fundamentally those related to the agro-alimentary and the environmental field. They include the wide range of activities from taking samples to the realisation of tests and dissemination of the corresponding information, as well as the aspects related to consultancy and advisory services in the related aspects. ENAC has also signed the MLAs for Testing and Calibration in the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the System Certification MLA in the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).
The Laboratory has submitted itself to the periodic controls and audits established by ENAC, which authorises EPTISA to internationally guarantee the quality of its results and involves the recognition of the rigor with which the analyses are carried out.
