Project Description:

The project objective was to secure in terms of quality, time and budget – the construction of the Geriatric Residence in Barcelona.

The residence was a two-building system including:

• One building with 31 rooms and apartments and a daily care zone;
• The second building with 29 residential rooms;
• The common areas including the landscaped yard zone, administration and direction zones, general service area, morgue, and a parking lot.

Activities carried out within the project included:

• Project management;
• Architecture project;
• Structures project;
• Equipment project;
• Final Detailed Design;
• Tendering for selection of Contractor;
• Construction Supervision according to the Spanish Conditions of Contract for Construction (similar to FIDIC RED Conditions of Contract for Construction).
