Forum_Building_Barcelona

The project included singular unique building with forceful triangular form, with a constructed surface of 43,500 m2, concentrating the services required for an event that can attract more than 6 million people per year:

  • The 1st floor: the auditory of 3,200 seats, exhibition areas, conference halls, restaurants and entrance hall;
  • The basement floor: part of the auditory and its supported spaces (dressing rooms, etc.) as well as the main passage connecting the Forum Building and the Convention Centre;
  • Covered public space for general activities: a mall, library, chapel and bars.

Activities carried out included:

  • Revision of the existing design and finalisation of the final design;
  • Project management;
  • Works management/supervision of the construction works (similar to FIDIC RED conditions of contract for Construction);
  • Works direction and coordination;
  • Security and health studies;
  • Contracting and purchasing management;
  • Quality assurance
